Invisalign is the invisible way to straighten teeth using a series of custom-made, nearly undetectable aligners. It has been proven effective in both clinical research and in practices nationwide. So whether your teeth are crowded, too far apart or have shifted since wearing braces, you’ll have a new reason to smile.
Upon an initial examination, Dr. Bartos will determine if Invisalign is right for you. Dr. Bartos will write a treatment plan and take an impression of your teeth, which are then submitted to Invisalign. Using the latest advance in 3-D computer technology, Invisalign carefully translates Dr. Bartos’ instructions into a series of precisely customized aligners. You then wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, moving your teeth, gradually – week by week, millimeter by millimeter – until you’ve achieved the intended result: straighter teeth. Generally, you visit Dr. Bartos no more often than you would with braces and the length of treatment is about the same. You can still enjoy all your favorite foods, and brush and floss normally! Invisalign is an appropriate treatment option for teen and adults whose teeth have grown in fully, including second molars.

Inlays are an effective way to restore back teeth. Usually made of porcelain, gold, or another alloy, they are long-lasting and preserve tooth structure while providing support and strength. Because inlays are individually designed, they fit with precision. At your first visit, the dentist will prepare your tooth. An impression will then be taken and sent to the laboratory, where your customized inlays will be created. At your next visit, your dentist will place the inlays and bond them to your teeth. The result will be renewed health, strength, and beauty.

Bonding is a cosmetic procedure that uses a special tooth-colored plastic material to improve the color, shape, and size of your teeth. A single tooth can be treated, or your entire smile can be enhanced. Gaps, cracks, chips, and discoloration can be corrected easily and effectively. Bonding can be done in one appointment, and the procedure is relatively painless. First, your teeth are prepared and treated with a mild acidic solution. The bonding material is then placed and artistically shaped by your dentist. The result is a beautiful smile that you will love to wear!

- Bridges

Bridges not only replace missing teeth, but they also help to prevent the problems a lost tooth can create. When you are missing a tooth, nearby teeth may shift position, increasing the likelihood of disease and decay and placing undue pressure on your jawbone. Using the adjacent teeth for support, a bridge replaces the missing tooth with a filler. Bridges can be made of porcelain, gold, acrylic, alloys, or a combination of materials. At your first appointment, your surrounding teeth will be reduced and reshaped, and an impression of your teeth will be taken. Once your bridge has been custom-made at the laboratory, your dentist will bond it in place. You will have improved health and appearance as a result.

Treating Periodontal Disease is very important for your dental and overall health. Periodontal disease, or gum disease, occurs when bacteria destroy gum and bone tissue. When plaque is not effectively removed from the teeth, it becomes tartar. Tartar damages tooth roots and gives the harmful bacteria access to the teeth. If periodontal disease is caught and treated early, teeth can be preserved. If you notice problems such as chronic bad breath, sore or bleeding gums, or loose teeth, let your dentist know. Early detection can save your smile.
- Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain Veneers are thin shells that, when bonded to your teeth, can whiten and reshape teeth. Made of natural-looking porcelain, veneers can brighten your smile, hide discoloration, and correct chipped, cracked, and crooked teeth. Strong, durable, and stain-resistant, veneers preserve much of the original tooth structure, because they fit over the front and top of teeth. At your first appointment, your teeth will be prepared and a layer of your tooth's surface will be removed. An impression of your teeth will be sent to the laboratory, where your veneers will be created. Once they are finished, your dentist will bond your new veneers in place. The results can be dramatic -- your new smile will be brighter, straighter, and more attractive.

Implants can be a long-term solution for replacing missing teeth. A dental implant consists of a small titanium cylinder, which acts as an artificial root, and a restoration. The implant procedure is completed in several steps. First, an impression of your teeth is taken. After evaluation, your dentist will surgically place the implants into your jawbone. Some time is necessary to allow the area to heal. Once healing takes place, a restoration is attached to the implant. Implants can be used for one or more missing teeth, and restorations can take the form of bridges, crowns, or dentures. The benefits of dental implants include added strength, improved stability, restored biting and chewing power, and increased beauty.

Home whitening is an easy and effective solution for treating discolored teeth. New technology has made home whitening gels very successful -- you will usually see results within a week. In the office, an impression of your teeth is used to create a customized mouth tray. At home, you line the tray with a special whitening gel, place it over your teeth, and leave the tray in place for a specified amount of time. The gel whitens and brightens teeth, giving you a beautiful smile you'll love to show the world!
- Kinetic Cavity Preparation (KCP)
Kinetic Cavity Preparation (KCP) - is a new, state-of-the-art dental tool that we are proud to offer our patients. The KCP uses a fine spray of microscopic powder to wash tooth decay away. It is a gentler alternative to the drill, and it leaves more healthy tooth structure in place. It is an ideal preparation for smaller, tooth-colored fillings. KCP can often be used without anesthetics, which means it can be used to treat pregnant women, children, and those with certain medical conditions. It is also helpful for people who are anxious about the sounds and sensations of drills and needles. Most discomfort with KCP is minor. Besides fillings, the KCP can be used for veneers, sealants, inlays, and onlays.
